   The Spanish company Cigüeñales SANZ was founded in 1947 in Zaragoza, not far away from Madrid. During first years of existence it dealt primary with repair of crankshafts for motorbikes and vessels. Being initially a small workshop, in course of time the company became one of the largest industrial enterprises of Aragon in the sphere of spare parts. The main company’s activity is industrial production of crankshafts for diesel engines.

 The first car brand which SANZ started manufacture spare parts for was SEAT and after 20 years of its founding the company has been already producing spare parts for such esteemed brands as PERKINS, NISSAN, CHRYSLER, MERCEDES BENZ, IKARUS, NEW HOLLAND, RENAULT (R.V.I.), SCANIA, VOLVO, DEUTZ, INTERNATIONAL, CASE, CATERPILLAR, KAMAZ, CUMMINS, DAF, DETROIT DIESEL, M.A.N., MACK, FIAT-IVECO, GENERAL MOTORS, MITSUBISHI and others.

 The SANZ goods quickly won themselves a name and became a demand by all repair plants in Spain. In the 90’s the SANZ crankshafts entered the European market being sold in Europe by many well-known “packing companies”. In 2000 the management of the company decided to promote its own trademark and to start selling of crankshafts under SANZ brand on the territory of the whole European Community.
At present SANZ sells crankshafts on all 5 continents. Share of goods delivered on the international market exceeds at the moment 90% of all produced goods.

 Since 1998 the company holds an ISO certificate 9001:2000 for manufacture and mechanical processing of crankshafts and spare parts for vehicles and industrial equipment.

 At present the company produces a wide range of crankshafts with length up to 2 m and weight up to 500 kg.
