BILSTEIN  The company BILSTEIN was founded by August Bilstein in 1863. It was named AUBI and was engaged in the production of window equipment. The first step towards the production of vehicles parts was made by Hans Bilstein together with the Berlin company Levator-Hebezeug-Fabrik in 1927. 


  Today BILSTEIN is firmly associated with such conceptions like innovations, quality, and leadership. BILSTEIN shock absorbers became legendary in car industry and international motorsports. Since mono-tube gas shock absorbers BILSTEIN were installed in series into Mercedes-Benz for the first time, the BILSTEIN company has gone through rash development and became a leader among shock absorber designers and producers.


  Quality of BILSTEIN factories is constantly audited and meets the requirements of standards DIN EN ISO 140001:2002 , DIN EN ISO 140001:2005, ISO/TS16949:2002 and others.

  Today the BILSTEIN trademark enjoys esteem of BMW, Ferrari, Maseratti, General Motors, Jaguar, Daimler-Chrysler, Porsche, Subaru. Two thousand of BILSTEIN factory workers produce more than 40 000 shock absorbers daily.
