   BERU AG was founded in 1912. Today the company ranks among the leading producers of cold start systems for diesel engines. BERU also covers 40% of world spark plug market for gasoline engines and is one of 4 main European producers. Moreover, the company produces sensors and electronics for ignition systems, xenon and halogen lamps, wiper blades, car antennas as well as ignition systems for oil and gas industry and so on.

 

  Almost all car, truck and engine producers are the customers of BERU AG. BERU AG also supplies its goods to the aftermarkets.

  In order to achieve high effectiveness of its products and retain a big market share correspondingly BERU AG invests 7% of its profits to scientific research and creations. According to this index BERU AG is one of the leading companies in Europe.

  All international production capacities are certified according to the standard ISO/TS 16949. 2002, and production sites in Germany are additionally certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2001, QS 9000, VDA 6.1.
