Wabco

  WABCO company (Westinghouse Air Brake Company, USA) was founded in 1868. Initially the company specialized in the production of air brake systems for rail transport. Since 1910 WABCO company has also been producing air brakes for commercial vehicles. In 1981 the company began mass production of ABS systems of the second generation and in 1996 – EBS system that greatly surpassed its predecessor.
   
      Currently WABCO brand presents the following product range on the market:
   •  Air processing systems: compressors, air-driers, protective valves, receivers.
 
   •  Braking systems: pneumatic systems for busses, ABS tractors and trailers, EBS, ABS hydraulic system, drum and disc brake mechanisms.

   •   Electronic systems: climate control, door opening control (bus), pressure controllers in the tires, central on-board computer, anti-roll stabilization system (ESC).

   •  Systems with air suspension: platform level taps, electronically controlled air suspension system (ECAS), electronically controlled shock absorber system (ESAC), shock absorbers and  air springs.
